Your everyday life as a consultant at SOLID IT

As a consultant, you will have a challenging workday where you will work with small, medium and large companies/organisations. Often you will have a role as the customer’s trusted advisor on projects and be responsible for ensuring that the customer’s unique needs are met in the best possible way. The scope of projects can vary from short and limited consultancy assignments to extensive and long-term projects that are either solved on your own or in collaboration with other consultants from SOLID IT.

More specifically, as a consultant in SOLID IT:

• Lead and execute infrastructure projects from start to finish, including requirements specification, solution design and implementation.
• Perform comprehensive assessments of customers’ existing infrastructure, identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations for optimisation.
• Design scalable and secure infrastructure solutions that align with customers’ business goals and best practices.
• Advise and guide customers on infrastructure challenges and recommend innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define projects, ensure on-time delivery and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Keep the customer and yourself updated on the latest infrastructure trends and technologies to deliver state-of-the-art solutions.

Qualifications

We are looking for a consultant who shares our professional ambitions and values and who has the following qualifications:

• Relevant educational background in computer science, information technology or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience designing and implementing complex infrastructure solutions.
• Experience with infrastructure design methodologies and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ability to both participate in a project and be part of the technical management of a project.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and internal/external stakeholders at all levels.
• You are familiar with commonly used security standards, such as the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) and ISO 27001.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work independently and thrive in a busy and deadline-orientated work culture. – Ability to work in a sales-orientated manner, where you together with the customer will continuously identify new projects for you and SOLID IT’s other consultants.

In addition to the above qualifications, you may have the following Microsoft 365 qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 with an understanding of the different tools in the suite.
• Deep specialisation in SharePoint, Teams or Exchange.
• Experience designing and implementing the Zero Trust security model in common infrastructure, including tiering, Enterprise Access Model and PIM.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation and monitoring.
• Hands-on experience and competence in security optimisation and analysis.

• Microsoft 365 Certified Administrator Expert
• Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Information Protection Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert
